Happy New Year, everyone!
I hope 2021 has been good for you so far! For me, honestly, it’s all the same. New year, same old same old. Things don’t change, because a year changes, they change because of small things we do over a long period of time. As you can tell I’ve been listening to many many podcasts lately, I ordered some self-help books and I’m a bit brainwashed. Not sure it’s the good kind.
Get to the point. I’ve got a new 7-day healthy eating challenge / meal plan. I haven’t done one of these in a while and I think it’s time. I haven’t been eating super well, especially in December which in many cultures is known as the month of sugar. Every single day, after you wake up, you take out a sugar cube and let it melt in your mouth. It’s called traditions.
Well, today, I know it’s Thursday and I’m very late with this, but if you want to join – don’t let the day of the week stop you. We’ll stop eating refined and non-refined sugar for 7 days. All kind of fruit is good, but we won’t eat honey/maple syrup – any liquid or good form of sugar – it’s a great way to reset those poor tastebuds and enjoy whole foods again. That’s pretty much it.
